What Size Speakers Should I Install in My New Car?

The right speaker size depends on your factory openings, not your taste. Most modern sedans use 6.5" front and rear; trucks and older cars often have 6x9" rear decks; many newer cars use 4x6" or 3.5" dash speakers. Before buying, look up your vehicle's spec or stop by and we'll measure. Once you know the size, the bigger question is component vs coaxial: components separate the tweeter for a wider soundstage and clearer vocals, while coaxials are simpler, cheaper, and drop into the factory location. Pair either with even modest amplification and you'll be shocked at the difference over a factory deck.
